IT IS WORKING!
Thank you for speaking for us last Sunday. We more than doubled our Bible class attendance last week. Even with it being Labor Day weekend we had great attendance yesterday. We feel our first Dedication Sunday was a great success. Yesterday one of my class members told me he has not been one to lead his family in prayer or Bible readings or any kind of devotions. He said he went home last week after your message feeling convicted that he had to begin doing so. I suspect there were many others who felt the same conviction. Thank you for the message. I thought you’d like to know…we just did a kick-off event and started some guys in Phase 1 of your material. We are calling it “The 12 Week Challenge”. We’re doing it in a small group format. We have 29 guys who are leading groups and about 140 guys participating! Not a bad for starting pretty much from ground zero. We just started Week 1 and I’m already getting good reports of guys who are very glad to have a way to get discipled. Several guys have said how much they appreciate having a simple structure to help guide them. Thanks for developing the material and letting us use it. We re-formatted it into just a Phase 1 booklet. We’ll give them another book when they go to Phase 2. Your website info was a lot of help for our kick-off events also. By the way, we did give man2man credit on the front cover for creating the information we used. Just wanted you to hear about a way God is using you to help more guys.
